Awana is an international, Bible-centered, youth-oriented club.

The name Awana comes from II Timothy 2:15; "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed." Awana began in a local church in Chicago, Illinois in 1950 out of the heartbeat to get the Word of God into the lives of their children and to provide a non-intimidating program so that these same children could bring their friends into the local church to hear about God's love for them. Awana is now in over 70 countries around the world, and children all over the world have an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel of grace. Your kids will be motivated to learn and challenged to serve God right here in our own church. The result . . . their lives will change, right in front of your eyes!

The three segments to every Awana Club night provide start to finish adventure!

Game Time
Every Awana meeting kicks off in high gear with team and individual competition. Fast paced organized games earn everyone's participation, unleashing natural energy and enthusiasm.

Handbook Time
Using achievement oriented learning segments; Awana emphasizes the use of God's Word for sound living. Scripture memory is used as a foundation to learning biblical truth as they progress through their handbooks, working individually and together with their leader.

Council Time
Your kids will sing praises to God during their song time. They'll hear exiting Bible truths, share real life testimonies of what God is doing in their lives, and motivate each other as they receive their awards and prizes.
