Women’s Ministries At Woodbridge
Women’s Ministries at Woodbridge
What is the goal?
We offer events and activities where women can meet, get acquainted with one another, grow in their faith, and reach out to others.
How do we work toward this goal?
Sister Saturdays offer opportunities to meet and have fun with other women, listen to an inspirational speaker, or learn something new. Two major events for 2013 are the Women’s Retreat in April and the Women of Faith Conference in September.
Upcoming Sister Saturday event:
Sister Saturday Continental Breakfast, June 15 8:30- 10 AM. Bldg. B
“Ordering Your Life God’s Way” (Set priorities and streamline your life to accomplish them.) Sign up at the Women’s Ministry table in the lobby.
The Helping Hands and Hearts Ministry reaches out to those who are going through difficult circumstances and shows them the love of Jesus. It encourages them through prayer, visits, cards, and notes, and the practical assistance of meals and transportation. Those who prepare meals are in teams that rotate assistance as the needs arise.
Who Is involved in Leading Women’s Ministries?
A volunteer team of five women plan the events and activities. A volunteer team of four women coordinate the Helping Hands and Hearts Ministry.
